Video Contest
Have you been confused by how scientists talk about COVID-19 vaccines?

Could you come up with better ways of explaining health information to your friends and family?

If so, we want your help in making vaccine science more understandable.
Win up to $1000!
We’re offering prizes to whoever can come up with the best ways of explaining how mRNA vaccines protect people against COVID-19 infections. And we want you to do it using metaphors.

To enter, all you have to do is learn about messenger RNA (mRNA). Then, create a 2-3 minute video describing:
-
mRNA;
-
Where mRNA lives in the body; and
-
How mRNA works in vaccines to keep people from getting sick from coronavirus

To get started, you can learn about mRNA by going to the Grapevine Health YouTube channel. There, you can check out the explanations by Dr. Fauci and Dr. Angie.
Deadline
We need to receive your submission by midnight on February 1, 2021. You can enter one of three ways:
-
Email your video to us at info@grapevinehealth.co
-
DM your video to us on social media (our Facebook and Instagram)
-
Post your video on social media and tag us
Rules
-
Videos must be 2-3 minutes in length.
-
Your submission also needs to be original -- your metaphors need to be your own!
-
You can work in teams of up to 4, but no scientists or doctors are allowed to enter. Students studying below the graduate level are eligible.
-
Each person can only participate in one entry.
-
By entering, you’re giving us permission to use your metaphor and content to explain these concepts in other settings.
Good Luck!
Winners will be chosen based on their scientific accuracy, their simplicity, and their relevance.
